SEARK Concert Association
The SEARK Concert Association represents a seven county area in Southeast Arkansas, which provides memorable artistic performances while promoting community pride and enhancing cultural vitality for this region of the state. The Assn. works to see a thriving presentation of high quality music, dance, and theater in southeast Arkansas, expose our children to the arts often and well, & provide indigenous talent with a venue for performances,

UAM Fine Arts Center
The University of Arkansas at Monticello's Fine Arts Center is host to a multitude of events ranging from theatrical performances, jazz band concerts, coral concerts, recitals, etc. The annual schedule is kept full with activities of the University's strong Music program which includes several diverse options of performance art. The Fine Arts Center also house the Spencer Gallery, which houses many temporary art exhibits during the academic year.
Monticello is home to three major educational institutions: The University of Arkansas at Monticello, Monticello School District and Drew Central School District. Its always a home game, between the three schools combined 30 plus competitive programs. Between games all three schools host a mulitide of activities and program typically open to the public for community support.

Prairie Country Club Golf Course
Location: Crossett, Ark
The Prairie Country Club has its roots in Crossett almost as long as the Crossett Company. Built in 1922 it has always been a place for families and special events for it's entire history. With a modern club house, dining facility, and private club, PCC has something for everyone. PCC has a 9-hole regulation length golf course. This medium-length layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone.

Guachoya Cultural Art Center

The Guachoya Cultural Art Center takes its name from the Native American name given to the area during the time of de Soto's 1539 visit. The gallery features regularly changing exhibits of local art.

Landmark Malco Theater Building lives again as the setting for concerts, entertainment and special attractions; equipment for movies and a full stage for live events. Sponsors annual exhibits and performances from Southeast Arkansas Arts and Sciences Center in Pine Bluff.

Locally produced plays and musicals, dance, visual arts, and music take place here. It is located in a former Dante's Department Store, is the home of the Dumas Area Arts Council, and is being restored, including preservation of a historic mural on the north side of the building.
Mud the Movie on Location in Dumas, AR

Although most movie watcher will mostly associate the Lionsgate motion picture MUD with Dewitt, AR (due to a cameo appearance of the Dewitt Water tower) the major of the "in town" scenes were film on location in Dumas Ark. Take an afternoon to drive through Dumas to check out the now fimlair locatoins include in the blockbuster hit staring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.
